Timeless journey
Perfect little dew droplets
suspended by chance
like baubles on a christmas tree
await their turn to dance
Glistening rainbows contemplating
their next destination
under crisp new sunrise
in quiet anticipation
Some fall earthward giving life
to nurture new growth’s humming
others rise skyward as mist
on a different journey of becoming
Shivering, I am mesmerised
drawn into their world
seeing in living colour
Mother Nature’s plan unfurled
untouched
unencumbered
inspired
